The most common problem that you will encounter with your MP3 player is uncompatible file format. MP3 players can understand files in mp3 format and some can also read wma formats. However if your music file doesn’t match these, there are other programs that allow you to convert file formats for your player. This is a worry to consider with an music player because without the right file format your music stops playing.
If for some reason your player cuts out part of a song the track could have been downloaded in a wrong file format. Maybe a computer glitch caused this. However if the song had played properly in the past it could be a hardware problem. In that case check the MP3 player itself.
When you download any mp3 file be careful that there is no virus attached. You should check any file you download with a anti-virus software program. Also it helps to know the souce where your downloading from takes precautions of all uploads. Once a virus attaches to a MP3 player it is very hard to disable it. You might even have to bring it into the shop to have some nerd team fix it up.
If a difficulty arises with your player and cannot be determined by first checking out the user’s manual you received when you originally purchased the player, then you should get hold of the manufacturer for expected warranty information. Should the player not be covered under the warranty, the original company may still be able to repair or replace the unit at your expense. However if the MP3 player didn’t cost too much to begin with, then just toss it out and grab yourself a new one.

The Rio Mp3 Player is an fine selection for someone who is interested in purchasing a new mp3 player. One huge advantage of a Rio Player that it has over other mp3 players is that it is able to play WMA files. These are Windows Media Files. These files got put up into a program by MS and are good competitors of the MP3 format, but this does not cause any problems for the Rio Player. The files are around half the size of an MP3 file, so you could get more of your music on your Rio MP3 Player.
The Rio Player is supported in two formats: Hard Drive and Flash Memory. The option of memory is up to you and what your needs are ie..how much music you want on the mp3 Player. The Hard Drive can store up to 20 Gigabtyes. So from what i read your able to have up to 10,000 music files depending on size on this MP3 Player. The Flash Memory player holds alot less data about128 Megabtyes. However , among the flash memory player you can upgrade on the memory.
Figure out what your music needs are before deciding on which Rio MP3 Player will best suit you. You are more than likely to seek a portable MP3 that you can use when you are on the go like exercising, running, or even walking.

With the explosion of the mp3 formatting, this has given the opportunity for everyone to squeeze and store your music files in large numbers. Let us compare the 2 ways to store these files to see what is best your situation.
Flash Players
Flash memory players storage signifies all info and/or music stored upon it is available when wanted without much loss. With all the music stored on computer chips so when power is turned off you never lose any data. Since there are no moving parts, whatever activity you are engaged in, the music will play normal without any skipping or rambling of the music. The storage size is smaller then a hard drive, but if your on the go this works out fine. These flash players are compact and light so for everyday use while working out or commuting they are perfect. You can hang them off your neck or just stick them in one of your pockets.
Hard Drive Players
When you have a large cd collection and wish to store all the files on one device then a hard drive is for you. These devices have large storrage areas. Some as large as 60 GB. This hard drive is in essence the same as your drive on your computer. It’s dependability is good, however there are many movable parts inside. You don’t want to be moving around while listening to your music. If dropped or banged this could harm your music.

Never before has there been such a mass market worldwide with MP3 music and the addition of podcasting. Along with faster broadband and cable, it is unknown what the future of the Internet has instore for us. As we now have the technology, we can see movies and film clips online. Is this the future of our society–mobile telephony with all the fixings.
In this sense, one could ask, with all at our disposal where is it best to download content? Are the smaller sites with their selections better then the larger sites with everything under the sun? Well it all depends on what your looking for. No site will have everything. If you find one or two that meets your criteria you are well ahead of everyone else.
